DIY repairs to plastic coatings.

DIY repairs to thermoplastic-coated equipment can now be carried out with Plascoat PPA 571 repair rods. Damaged coatings on street furniture, fencing, and sports installations raise the risk of corrosion and deterioration.

The rods are made of a low melting point polymer alloy that can be softened with a hot air gun then worked into the broken area with a spatula. Repairs take only a few minutes and are said to require only limited practice and skill. The rods can be supplied in colours to match the Plascoat range of PPA 571 coatings.
