VIC:Man charged over Kerang shooting
MELBOURNE, Feb 11 AAP - Victoria Police have charged a man in relation to a shooting
death at a farm in northern Victoria.
Homicide Squad detectives charged Darryn Cassidy, 44, with one count of murder at an
out of sessions court hearing in Swan Hill late on Friday.
Earlier police had said a man in his 40s had walked into the Kerang police station
on Friday morning and told officers he had been involved in a fatal shooting.
Police attended a farm in Lower Loddon Road, Kerang, on Friday where a man's body was found.
The accused was remanded in custody and is due to face Bendigo Magistrates Court on Monday.
